Westchester County First Responder COVID-19 Testing Info

If a responder has had a potential exposure to a suspect or confirmed case of COVID-19 and the responder is symptomatic, then he/she should contact his/her healthcare provider to discuss that responder’s specific healthcare needs.  In addition, First Responders should work with their Chief Officer and Exposure Control Officer who can assist with making arrangements for priority testing at one of the locations below:

Glen Island Park, New Rochelle - by appointment only - Call (888) 364-3065

Phelps Memorial Hospital, Sleepy Hollow - by appointment only – Fax registration form to (914) 366-1446

Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla - by appointment only - Call (914) 202-4530

A screening will be conducted over the phone and a determination made on testing. If testing is conducted, results will usually be provided within 48-72 hours.  While the results are pending the first responder needs to remain in quarantine. First Responders need to keep their primary healthcare provider, agency Chief Officer and Agency Exposure Control Officer informed of their status.
